Inspired by the rock paintings of the Helan Mountains, which represent the origin of East Asian civilization, and the bronze script found on etiquette-representing bronze ware, the Sunkiss Design Team has created a liquor bottle that embodies the noble soul and profound historical implications of these cultural symbols.
The exterior design of the bottle follows the concept of "round sky and square earth, and round outside and square inside." The black main tone is complemented by red gold dots, while the concave-convex rock painting and bronze script elements add texture and depth. Each cultural element corresponds to a different alcohol concentration, further enhancing the product's cultural value.
The bottle is made from porcelain with a matte finish, and the rock painting and bronze script elements are made concave-convex. The logo is elegantly stamped in gold, adding a touch of luxury to the design.
With a volume of 750ml, a height of 270mm, and a diameter of 105mm, the Ningxiahong Rock Painting Bronze Script liquor bottle is not only a work of art but also a functional and practical product.
The design team, led by Zhou Hong and Wu Changzhi, aimed to break the brand's aging image and rebuild its identity. By incorporating unique cultural elements that resonate spiritually with the audience, they have successfully transformed the perception of the Ningxiahong brand.
This project began in April 2019 and was completed in June 2019. The design was carried out in Beijing, while the production took place in Zhongwei, Ningxia.
The Ningxiahong Rock Painting Bronze Script liquor bottle has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2020. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving the quality of life.
